Online banking is big business. Which makes you a very big target for online scammers. So next time you get an email telling you need click on a link and login to your bank to access your account to verify data and information, DOUBLE CHECK THE email address. Banks will not use an email that’s ends with a yahoo, gmail, or an IP address. More importantly they will never ask you for information via email!!

INSTEAD OPEN UP A SEPARATE BROWSER WINDOW AND LOGIN TO YOUR BANK BY TYPING IN THE BANK’S URL.

In this way you can avoid cleverly disguised phishing pages.
